XMAS EVE

Spent most of the morning and early afternoon asleep as I have been so tired recently due to the lack of sleep in the kitchen.
The reason I have been sleeping in the kitchen has been due to the intense cold in the bedroom and the lack of money to heat up more than one room.

Finally got my left leg cleaned and re-bandaged as it has been hurting a lot and leaking.
When Candy was taking the bandages off my crease on my foot started to bleed.
I’m going to wait a couple of days before I get my right leg changed but it seems alright at the moment.

The finale episode of MERLIN was shown tonight and it was AMAZING!!!
It also had a good twist at the end set in the present day.
We also watched the Christmas specials of Outnumbered and Mrs. Brown’s Boys.
Which both were really funny.
As I’m writing this we are watching Jennifer’s Body on Film4.
It’s not a bad movie.
The other day I watched the movie - Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, a Finnish horror movie which was really good,
I would like to buy it on DVD now.
Still no rent money from the council, and I ignored an e-mail from Jagpal.
So more than likely he will put in an eviction notice for us to be out of here in two months, which might not be a bad idea.
Anyway signing off for now,

MERLIN

Tonight was the final episode of MERLIN after 5 years.
It was an amazing end and will be sadly missed.

ONION BHAJI

Candy treated me to an XXL sized Onion Bhaji yesterday.
It is one of my favourite Indian foods and just thinking about it makes me sweat with joyful spices in my tummy!
I have spilt it into 4 pieces as I could not handle it by itself.

THE FINAL DANDY

My friend Mandy Simpson who I used to go to school with found out via facebook that I missed out on buying the final edition of the British comic The Dandy.
So as a lovely person that she is, she bought me a copy of the comic and posted it to me as a present.
It was so very kind of her for doing that to me.
I admit I have found out this year who my real friends are.

To the legendary Larry Hagman, aka JR Ewing of Dallas fame.
I’m so glad that he got to do Dallas again after all these years.
He will be sadly missed.
It would be the ultimate honour of having “Who killed JR” storyline in season 2 of the series.

Happy 49th Birthday Doctor Who

BAD TIMES

We have not received any benefit since 25th October and we are struggling,
we have survived by not eating much, having no heat on,
Candy getting a small crisis loan and taking items back to shops just to get refunds.
our benefits are in "transition" and hopefully we will get something by the end of the month but there is no guarantee,
our landlord and his bank are getting slightly fed up now as we are behind on the rent and we are behind on paying our storage fees for our personal belongings and furniture.
we live in a two floor 3 bedroom apartment which is lovely but we spend our time in the kitchen as it is the warmest room we have got.
our nearest benefit office/CAB/job centre are located 11 miles away and the bus journey costs £12 return for the both of us.
we don't have a landline phone and most of the benefit phone lines are normally 0845 number,
my moby has died on me and we are relying on Candy's moby which we can't afford credit for.
we both try and put a brave face on everyday but it is hard,
I'm glad that we don't have any children as it would be hard to bring them up in this climate.
I'm not writing this so that you guys could feel sorry for us or think that he is asking for help,
I'm writing this to let you all know that life is tough for alot of people and you should be thankful for what and who you have in your life.
I'm just thankful I have Candy in my life.

CANDY'S GOOD DEED

As a thank you to the kind lady who helped Candy out on Friday,
she has agreed to go to church to help out at the service.
Candy is an atheist and really does not believe in any religion,
so this is a big thing for her to do and I'm proud of her for doing it.
We need all the Karma points as we can get.
